Temu Virtual Assistant
& Account Manager

Temu sets your retail price, not you. We manage the levers you actually control — payout pricing, delivery windows, returns and listing quality — so your margin survives the channel.

A Temu virtual assistant runs your Temu Local Seller account day to day: building listings, setting the all-in payout price that decides whether Temu promotes or buries you, shipping inside the delivery window, and handling a return rate that runs well above Amazon’s. Temu is a genuinely different economic model, and going in without understanding it is how sellers lose money at volume.

What We Offer

How We Help You Grow

Local Seller Onboarding

The local-to-local model is the one that works for US-based sellers. We handle registration, business verification, EIN and bank setup, and get your first SKUs live.

Payout Price Strategy

You submit an all-in payout price and Temu decides the retail price. Ask too much and Temu does not raise the price — it flags the listing as low-visibility and buries it. Getting this number right is the single most important decision on the platform.

Delivery Window Compliance

Temu measures delivery, not dispatch. Miss the window and you are looking at per-item penalties regardless of whether the carrier was at fault. We track every order to delivery and escalate early.

Returns & Refund Management

Temu runs a 90-day customer return window — three times Amazon’s — and applies refund-without-return on low-value items. We process returns, track the cost per SKU and flag products where returns are eating the margin.

Listing & Content Setup

Category selection, attributes, images and copy built for Temu’s browse-led discovery rather than keyword search. Temu shoppers arrive differently to Amazon shoppers.

Channel Conflict Protection

Listing the same SKU cheaper on Temu than Amazon risks Buy Box loss or suspension on Amazon. We coordinate pricing across your channels so one does not damage the other.

What Makes Temu Different

Read this before you list a single SKU

You do not control your retail price

You submit the payout you need. Temu sets what the customer pays. There is no repricer, no price defence, no promotional calendar you control. Your entire margin position is decided by the payout number you submit.

Low-visibility flagging replaces price rejection

This is the mechanic most sellers miss. If Temu judges your requested payout too high, it does not decline the listing or raise the price — it applies a low-visibility badge and the listing effectively disappears. Sellers often think they are live when they are invisible.

The penalty regime is real

Temu applies per-item penalties for missing delivery windows. In 2024 CNN documented supplier protests over fines reported at one to five times the wholesale product price for late delivery or inaccurate descriptions. Temu disputed the scale of those protests. Either way, the compliance posture is far stricter than Amazon’s.

Return rates run 2–3× Amazon

A 90-day window plus refund-without-return on cheap items produces return rates well above what Amazon sellers plan for. Products need to be selected and priced with that assumption built in.

You get no customer data

You receive a name and a partially masked address. No email, no phone. There is no remarketing, no list building and no lifetime value beyond the transaction.

Why local sellers exist at all

When the US de minimis exemption ended in May 2025, Temu stopped shipping direct from China to US customers and pivoted hard to local fulfilment. The Local Seller Program is the result — which is also why competition for good local supply is currently favourable.

What You Get

What a month of Temu management looks like

Temu rewards operational discipline more than clever marketing. There is no ad platform to optimise and no price to control, so the work concentrates on fulfilment, pricing submissions and loss prevention:

  • Daily order processing with tracking uploaded promptly, and every order monitored through to delivery rather than dispatch
  • Payout price reviews per SKU, testing where the visibility threshold sits before a listing gets buried
  • Low-visibility flag monitoring — catching listings that have gone quiet before you notice the revenue drop
  • Returns processing, with a per-SKU return-rate report so you can kill products that are losing money
  • New listing creation and category placement
  • Penalty monitoring and dispute handling where a missed window was carrier-caused
  • Cross-channel price coordination so your Temu price does not trigger an Amazon Buy Box loss
  • A monthly report covering revenue, return rate, penalties incurred and margin after all deductions

A good fit if

  • You are a US-registered business with domestic inventory
  • Your products can absorb a return rate two to three times higher than Amazon
  • You have margin headroom at a wholesale-style payout price
  • You want incremental volume and are not relying on brand building
  • You already sell elsewhere and want pricing coordinated

Probably not a fit if

  • You need control over your retail price
  • You are building a brand and need customer data
  • Your margins are already thin at wholesale
  • You sell fragile, bulky, or high-return-risk items
  • Your Amazon Buy Box cannot tolerate a lower price elsewhere

Our Process

How We Work

01

Viability Review

Before onboarding we model your products against Temu economics — payout price, expected return rate, shipping cost absorption. If Temu will not work for your catalogue, we tell you at this stage rather than after you have listed.

02

Account Setup

Registration, business verification, EIN and banking, customer service contact and warehouse configuration under the Local Seller Program.

03

Listing Build

Category placement, attributes, imagery and copy, with payout prices set from the viability model rather than guessed.

04

Fulfilment Cadence

Daily dispatch, tracking upload, delivery monitoring and returns processing. This is where Temu accounts are won or lost.

05

Margin Review

Monthly review of returns, penalties and shipping absorption against revenue, with SKU-level decisions on what to keep, reprice or pull.

FAQ

Common Questions

What does Temu charge sellers?

Temu does not publish a public fee schedule, and figures quoted online range from zero commission to 30%. What is reliably true: there is no registration fee and no listing fee. The economically important mechanic is not a commission at all — you submit an all-in payout price and Temu profits on the spread between that and the retail price it sets. Treat any specific commission figure you read elsewhere with caution.

Which Temu model should a US seller use?

The local-to-local model, marketed by Temu as the Local Seller Program. Fully-managed is a consignment model built around China-origin goods, and semi-managed assumes you already hold stock in the destination country through an overseas 3PL. For a US business with US inventory, local is the route.

How fast do I have to ship?

Temu measures delivery rather than dispatch, with a delivery deadline commonly reported at seven business days from order. Published ship-by figures vary between 24 hours and two business days depending on the source. We work to the tightest published requirement rather than the most generous.

Will selling on Temu hurt my Amazon account?

It can, if you let it. Amazon monitors external pricing, and a materially cheaper Temu listing on the same SKU can cost you the Buy Box or trigger a suspension review. This is manageable with deliberate pricing, and it is one of the things we coordinate rather than leave to chance.

Can I get my listings unburied once they are flagged?

Usually, yes — the flag is generally a function of the payout price you submitted rather than a permanent penalty. Adjusting the payout typically restores visibility. The harder problem is noticing it has happened, which is why we monitor for it.

Do you handle returns?

Yes. Given a 90-day return window and refund-without-return on low-value items, returns handling is a core part of the service rather than an add-on.
